PACK your day red, white and blue and join us on Tuesday, July 4th for the annual Parade, Fish Fry and Fireworks. Also, the City's 41st Birthday, the excitement of the day rings through beginning at 9 am with the parade and ending with fireworks around 10 pm.

Parade (Step-Off 9:00 AM)

Tega Cay's Let Freedom Ring Parade is scheduled on Tuesday, July 4th, beginning at 9:00 AM. The parade route will begin at Tega Cay Elementary School and travel down Tega Cay Drive to Runde Park on Windward Drive and loop back to Tega Cay Elementary. Parade Emcees Indira Eskieva and CN2's Renee O'Neil will announce all entries from the parking entrance of the Tega Cay Police Department.

Tega Cay’s Parade is becoming widely known for its patriotic flair parade -- from streamers and ribbons on the largest entry to the smallest child, everyone comes together to make this event the best small town July 4th celebration in the area.  This year’s theme "Let Freedom Ring" encompasses the sounds of the holiday from ringing of the bells to children singing, this year we want to exclaim the excitement of being an American.  The more patriotic, while keeping in the theme, makes you a perfect candidate for taking one of the coveted trophies and bragging rights!

It is very important to the success of the parade and the full enjoyment and safety of all participants and spectators that you know your responsibilities.  Please review the guidelines with your participants on the parade registration form.  All entries must register to participate. No on-day participates will be accepted. Because this is a long route with high and low hills, participants will not be allowed to walk.
