Mission Statement
The purposes of the corporation are to educate the general public about hot air balloons and other air sport related activities, to sponsor and conduct various events and festivals related to hot air balloons and other air sport related activities for the benefit of the greater Anderson County area, and to engage in such other activities as are related to and/or ancillary to such purposes. This corporation shall be organized and operated exclusively for the charitable, recreational and educational purposes described above. No part of any net earnings shall inure to the benefit of any private shareholder or individual, and no substantial part of the activities of this corporation shall be for carrying on propaganda, or otherwise attempting to influence legislation and this corporation shall not participate in, or intervene in (including the publishing or distributing of statements), any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for public office. This corporation shall irrevocably dedicate its assets to charitable, recreational and educational activities.
