Loved it except for some rude employees. I'm southern, so I was surprised at such rude talk down here, from simple questions I asked. Especially the older woman at the food counter. Campground was nice, small spaces mostly. Pools were immaculately clean. Good amount of chairs. Nice place for kids. Liked they had a food truck available at times. The store could use more options of meat which would have helped a ton!

My kids and I stayed here in early May at one of the beach RV sites. During the May visit the park was very clean, everyone visiting the park was very friendly and obeyed all the park rules. The beach bathhouses were very clean and well maintained. Therefore, my kids asked if we could go back during the summer when we could go to the beach and use the pool. So I booked an RV site for the week following the 4th, to avoid some of the crowd. The only RV site available for the entire week was an infield site for which the park states there is a 35-feet rig restriction on. Meaning no rigs over 35-feet are allowed to reserve these sites. My travel trailer is 35-feet and I had a very difficult time getting into where my site was located. In fact if it were not for one very nice gentleman I would have never gotten turned around this very tight turn, which throughout my stay I witnessed several rigs struggle with (some even much shorter than 35-feet). Park rules were loosely enforced, dogs were not on leases; golf carts did not obey traffic laws; many sites had multiple vehicles parked at them making driving on narrow roads even that much more challenging. Then there was the trash, the rules tell me to pick up after my dog but it was difficult to even walk my dog for all the trash she kept picking up and I continued to have to pull from her mouth. The park was filthy and the infield bathhouses were very dirty and not well maintained. A couple of times I went to use the bathroom and the toilets were full of feces and/or there was no toilet paper. A couple of the showers did not even have shower heads. Recommendation: 1. Instead of trying to squeeze so many rigs in the infield area, maybe change it to one rig per row. For example instead of having two units back to back on a row make each row where it will only accommodate one rig. Then that would allow space to maneuver even a 35-feet or smaller rig. 2. Update bathhouses and clean regularly. 3. Strictly enforce park rules.

We have been coming here for years. We have camped and stayed in villas as well. It has taken a while but the places is becoming very handicap friendly. Very relaxing place to stay. Good pricing. Right on the beach! Great place for kids!! Pool, lazy river, splash pad, arcade, laundry mat, on site store, pizza everything. Most days we don't even leave the campground.

Very family oriented the best amenities a coastal campground has to offer and clean as any place could be. They have an excellent security and staff with more on site free activities then you could possibly do in a weeks time. You could come here and never leave the entire time your there and never run out of sun and fun. The residents are a friendly helpful .and just all around good group of people that welcome everyone with open arms and beautiful smiles ALWAYS. The beach accesses are convenient and clean also. This is by far the best place a family couple or individual could chose to reside or vacation at.
