Very thankful that Swansea has a subway. Employees are generally kind and helpful. Every once in a while an employee is hired with the "I hate people and I hate life attitude", but they generally don't last long. Overall, I give them 4 out of 5 due to cleanliness. It's not bad, but it's not great.
50/50 chance that the bread for your sub will be perfect, otherwise it will be burnt on top or dried out inside. Which if it's a to go order you'll never know until you get to where you're going. The staff is 50/50. They don't act as they really care. Rarely do they make eye contact or smile. They're supposed to change rubber gloves after each sub which is a problem because many people are allergic to some of the toppings they use. I've had to request several times for them to change their gloves due to a allergy to their hot peppers. Which they had placed on a sub prior to mine. So with this Subway you're taking your chances on getting a good sub or a really bad one.
I walked in 10 minutes before closing time and they told me the person in front of me was the last customer. Plenty of food on the line but unwilling to serve a very hungry father and 7 year old son! After going down the road to Hardee’s they willingly served us even though it was closing time. Disappointing!
Good food would be 4 stars but prices seem like they have gotten alot higher. What happened to $5 foot long???
Finally they have two competent employees that care about their job and how they do it. The two ladies that were working today were phenomenal. I wish I could've said this sooner but the hiring manager at this location kept hiring idiots that couldn't have cared less. The two working today are definitely keepers. Sandwich artistry is a huge selling point for subway and these two have it down pat along with excellent customer service
