Bluffton School Of Dance And Performing Arts

History:
As the little town on the banks of the May River began to grow, a vision to bring a segment of the arts to Bluffton was born.

Ashley Bozard founded the Bluffton School of Dance in 1999. As word of the dance school grew, children of all ages embraced the opportunity to explore the world of dance and tumbling. The school's current facilities in Sheridan Park were opened in 2001 and facilitated further growth with three studio suites.

In 2003, Dawn Rosa acquired Bluffton School of Dance. Under Ms. Rosa's direction, BSD has become the Bluffton School of Dance & Performing Arts. The programs have been expanded to offer lessons in all modes of dance, acrobatics, voice lessons and a musical theatre program for both children and adults. The school's auditioned, non-profit, award-winning dance "Company" allows serious students an outlet to hone their craft at the highest level. The Bluffton School of Dance & Performing Arts is proud to bring the arts "home" to Bluffton.
