3. Halloween Howler Bar Crawl, Charleston, SC

5. The Ghost Hound of Goshen Hill, Newberry, SC

It just wouldn’t be Halloween without a little ghost hunting, and the Palmetto State is chock full of haunted places and spooky spaces to find them. Your chances of finding some paranormal activity are good at the Ebenezer Church cemetery near Newberry, where sightings of a ghost hound abound. The ghost dog roams a five-mile stretch of old Buncombe Road from the cemetery to Goshen Hill Plantation. Legend has it that no matter how fast you’re driving, the ghost hound will be running alongside you at the same pace. 

6. Ghost & Dungeon Walking Tour, Charleston, SC

There’s nothing better to get your Halloween senses tingling than a trip through dark dungeons, alleyways, and churches. This 90-minute tour takes you to some of the most haunted sites in the Holy City, including a 20-minute stop at famed Provost Dungeon.
